mom's surgery

Family & Friends,
Mom made it through surgery okay. Although we did not get to talk to the doctor after the surgery, as he was doing 5 back to back surgeries, and mom was the 3rd one, I was able to read his handwritten procedure notes. It appears, if I read them right, that her knee was worse this time as compared to the 1st surgery. There was more bone on bone area, more torn cartilage and a new area of degeneration between her leg bones and knee cap, We see the doctor next week to get the official word. Mom went home after about 9 hours in the hospital and seems to be sore but having less pain in the knee as she previously had. Thanks for the prayers for her. Now you can pray that my cooking doesn't kill us both. Love Dad
